On top of 4 very engaging days with customers and commercial partners, on Wednesday May 21st CID sponsored the scientific session titled “Pushing boundaries in complex PCIs: Unique DES technology for complex lesions & patients”. Four very interesting cases - introduced by Prof. Marco Valgimigli - have been presented by very experienced and skilled physicians, highlighting the unique features of our Cre8™ EVO Amphilimus™ eluting stent.
Specifically: Prof. Doyeon Hwang has underlined how the presence of Cre8™ EVO markers, no foreshortening and easiness of side branch access make successful the implantation even in very difficult LM anatomies; Dr. Salvatore Colangelo has shown the role of Abluminal Reservoir technology in protecting drug/coating in case of Guiding Extension Catheter use empowering this with the release of a study (first study of this kind ever!); Dr He Hwa Ho has alerted the audience on the possible risk IVL may provide in case of its use post polymeric DES implantation (but not Cre8™ EVO!); Prof. Gennaro Sardella has confirmed that, when a patient is at HBR & HIR then Cre8™ EVO represents «the best DES of choice» (maximum Safety & Efficacy).
